Introducing the New Training Editor

In our recent article about the new Movement Search in the Volt platform, we mentioned that there were some big changes coming soon. Well, today is the day! We couldn’t be more excited to announce the launch of our new TRAINING EDITOR, which lets you change, rearrange, and create workouts of your own.

We’re always looking for ways to provide the Volt Family with more opportunities to optimize your training for your unique environment. We understand that sometimes you might need to shorten a training session, to make it work for your team’s schedule. Or maybe you’d like to add an additional mobility-focused session at the end of the training week, to help facilitate active recovery. Or you train in a crowded gym, and need to convert movement pairings into standalone sets that don’t require athletes to take up two pieces of equipment at one time. We hear you—and our new training editor is here to help you make Volt your own like never before.

Introducing Powerful New Editing Tools

With this new feature, not only can you add and delete movements within a workout, you can also group, ungroup, and rearrange movements within your workouts to create circuits or standalone sets.

with the training editor enabled, you can add, Move, delete, group, and ungroup movements in any workout.

You can also create brand-new training days, and reorganize your training week to best suit your training environment and schedule.

the training editor gives you the power to create new workouts from scratch, for even more control over your team’s training.

The training editor automatically saves your changes as a draft, allowing you to take your time making edits before pushing those changes live to your athletes.

Here are some ways that you can flex these tools to customize your Volt training even further:

  • Create your own warm-up circuit at the beginning of a workout

  • Add accessory movements (like biceps curls or triceps extensions) to the end of a workout as an enticement for athletes

  • Add a targeted mobility/flexibility-focused session

  • Delete movements you don’t like, instead of just replacing them

  • Make your workouts shorter!

  • Make your workouts longer!!

Why This is a Big Deal

In gathering user feedback, we learned how important it is for you to have more flexibility when it comes to your training programs. Every training environment and schedule is different, and our new training editor allows the coaches, trainers, facility owners, and training admins who use Volt to bring quality training to their teams the freedom to truly make Volt their own.
