Dan Giuliani, MSAL, CSCS, RSCC, is the CEO of Volt Athletics. When Dan co-founded Volt in April 2011, he envisioned a world where elite-level strength and conditioning would be affordable and accessible to all athletes. By developing a unique technology and building it into the online platform at voltathletics.com, Dan and the Volt team have taken great strides towards realizing that goal. Dan is committed to growing Volt with the purpose of bringing awesome affordable strength training to athletes everywhere.
A self-proclaimed "fat kid" through high school and college, Dan saw firsthand the impact of proper training on body composition and athletic performance. Dan played football and rugby at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, holds a Masters in Sport Administration and Leadership from Seattle University, and has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 2009. He has coached at the high school and college levels for four years and moonlights as a play-by-play broadcaster for Seattle University Baseball.
A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dan lives in Seattle in the beautiful Greenlake neighborhood. When he is able to get out of the office, Dan crushes recreational sports, vociferously supports Seattle sports teams, and genuinely appreciates musical theater. He draws daily inspiration and guidance from his parents, admires his sister, and wants to be just like his high school football coach when he grows up.
